Gabriel Garcia Marquez 



 
The literary world mourns the passing of Columbia author Gabriel Garcia Marquez. He was the writer of numerous novels, short stories, novellas and non-fiction.  He also won the Nobel prize for Literature in 1982. 

His most notable works:
  • Love in the Time of Cholera
  • One Hundred Years of Solitude 
  • Autumn of the Patriarch
